About the Recipe
Although there is no cream or cheese or anything, this is a flavor packed recipe!

Ingredients
1 c coconut milk
1 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp nutritional yeast
1 c beef broth
1 Tbsp cornstarch (or 2 Tbsp flour)
1 Tbsp onion powder
1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp mustard
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
More Ingredients:
chopped mushrooms (how ever many you like)
olive oil
1 lb ground beef
3 - 4 c cooked rice or noodles
Preparation
Step 1
Mix sauce ingredients together in a small mixing bowl. Wisk together to get rid of clumps.
Step 2
Sauté chopped mushrooms in olive oil in small pan.
Step 3
Cook ground beef in large pan or pot.
Step 4
Poor sauce mixture into pan with ground beef. Stir and cook on medium until the sauce thickens up. (do the wooden spoon test)
Step 5
Serve beef and sauce mixture over rice or noodles. Top with amount of desired mushrooms.
P. S.
You can sauté the mushrooms in a large pan, and add the beef to that same pan if everyone likes mushrooms. I cook them separate because my husband doesn't like mushrooms. :)
